Books I review: How I rate -updated

I grade on a simple scale of 1-5 with 5 being hot and a 1 not so much.

Here is the legend:

Books reviewed by me will be rated as follows:

5- Highly recommended to buy (Very hot, highly explicit content, well-written, deep compelling love story, and answers all of my questions, leaves me wanting more, happily ever after or happy for now)

4- Recommended to buy (Very hot, explicit content well-written, compelling story, some questions left unanswered, mostly satisfied with conclusion, happily ever after or happy for now)

3- Recommended to check out at library (Hot, well-written, more questions asked than answered, ok with the conclusion, happy to return book, happily ever after or happy for now)

2- Recommended to borrow (Not hot, lukewarm, writing level not good but ok, too many holes to care about story, why was this book published, mad at friend for not giving a warning, but have to finish, outcome not promising, some redeeming qualities, could be happy ever after or happy for now)

1- Read at your own risk (so horrible, read while family was held hostage and the only way to save them was to read the book, wants minutes, hours, days back after reading, does not care if there is a happily ever after or happy for now)

Books reviewed by me will be rated as follows (romance books I review)

I grade on a simple scale of 1-5 with 5 being a worthy read and a 1 not so much.

Here is the legend:

Books reviewed by me will be rated as follows:

5- Highly recommended to buy (More of a build up to the one or two sex scenes that are possibly spicy but not over the top, an integral part of the story, but not the main focus of the story, well-written, deep compelling love story, and answers all of my questions, leaves me wanting more, happily ever after)

4- Recommended to buy (A build up to the one or two sex scenes that are sweet, making love, part of the story but not the main focus, well-written, compelling story, some questions left unanswered, mostly satisfied with conclusion, happily ever after)

3- Recommended to check out at library (One sex scene that is sweet, but does not go into explicit detail about the act, more about where the story has developed a long the way, not really about the sex at all, but about the journey or story as it evolves, well-written, more questions asked than answered, ok with the conclusion, happy to return book)

2- Recommended to borrow (One sex scene possibly or maybe implied as an after thought, lukewarm, writing level not good but ok, too many holes to care about story, why was this book published, mad at friend for not giving a warning, but have to finish, outcome not promising, some redeeming qualities)

1- Read at your own risk (No sex scene, just implied, so horrible, read while family was held hostage and the only way to save them was to read the book, wants minutes, hours, days back after reading)

I find it easier to leave room for actual review on my website, examiner.com page. Thanks for reading!

Do you want to give the rating a unit? How about 5 bubbles (from the backgorund of your site)? 5 nachos etc? I found it more fun then just 5 stars.

lol I do like that. I went with stars because I couldn't come up with something unique, but that is why I tried to describe what each one meant to me. I am still working on coming up with a better concept. Thank you so much ms Enid!
